The year 2020 will soon be forgotten for Friends of the Telethon and all the associations that participated in the organization. Deprived of various incidents across the city due to the health crisis, they were forced to reduce actions to a simple mailbox made available in the Cité Saint-Laurent district and the traditional urn placed in the reception of the town hall. Despite this, Veauchois was once again generous when 7,800 euros were collected.
“The water we bring to the AFM factory,” admits Josiane Côte and Marie-France Pupier, members of Friends of the Telethon, is always a drop of hope for the sick. “All that remains is to hope that December 2021 will again allow more demonstrations in favor of Telethon.
