The epidemiological indicators of Covid-19 remain at a high level in the Rhône, where 59 new patients have still been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, including 6 in intensive care.

After two days of falls in trompe-l’oeil, the number of patients admitted to the ward thus increases to 921 (+15) this Saturday 23 January, including 129 in intensive care (-1). After 9 deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of patients who have died in hospital has risen to 2101 since 1 March. Since that date, 9744 patients have returned home (+31).

The fear of imminent degradation

If the situation remains unchanged in health care institutions, the increase in incidence raises concerns about an imminent deterioration: they reached 225/100 000 in the Rhône and 218; 9 / 100,000 in Metropolis, Lyon for the rolling week of 15 to 20 January.

If the degree of positivity remains stable (8.4%) over this period, it should also increase in the next few days.
