Bourg-en-Bresse. Comprehensive security law: one hundred protesters

One hundred people were present this Saturday from 15.00 in front of the Ain prefecture, in Bourg-en-Bresse, to demonstrate against the comprehensive security law, at the request of around thirty collectives and trade unions. “A liberticidal law” condemned the protesters, some from Lagnieu or Gex country. “We did not think there would be so many people with this weather,” commented one participant.

The demonstrators reiterated their opposition to the reforms of pensions and unemployment insurance, and condemned “the destruction of the ferry and public services. We stifle freedom of expression, the unions repeated. A procession was then formed to go to the Place de la Comédie. The first demonstration in Bourg on November 28 had gathered 500 people, four days after the law was passed in the National Assembly.
