According to figures from Public Health France published on Friday 22. January, eight people died of Covid-19 in 24 hours in Ain, increasing the number of hospital deaths to 429 (+8).

Consequently, the incidence (number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants) in the ward at the beginning of the week had fallen well below the 200s (199 against 217 the week before) for the entire population. The decline was spectacular for those over 65 (204 vs. 267).
No reason to look for a possible connection with the curfew until kl. 18, this measure did not enter into force until January 15 in Ain.
