Saint-Etienne CHU and the nursing home of the Saint-Etienne mutualist clinic will be the first two health institutions to administer the vaccine from Pfizer laboratories.
The deputy specifies that the head of the Loire will chair a “departmental strategic committee” the same day, Thursday, to explain how the vaccine will be distributed in the department afterwards.
Another member of the Loire Valley, Julien Borowczyk, called for “a priority for vaccinations at Montbrison nursing homes”. Even a doctor, he declares that he will obtain the patient’s consent from Friday 8. January, and that the vaccines can be given immediately.
This Tuesday morning, the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, announced that he wanted to “strengthen, accelerate and simplify” the vaccine strategy. From the end of January, everyone over the age of 75 will be able to be vaccinated.
And from this Tuesday, firefighters and home helpers over the age of 50 will be able to receive an injection of the vaccine against coronavirus. “They are in contact with fragile and sick people,” Olivier Véran explained.
