The iMac 2021 will have a much bigger screen than the current version

According to a recent leak about the upcoming iMac 2021 lineup, the latest iMac will have a very big screen design with a monitor that is far larger than the current model.

Several rumors about Apple’s latest line of Macbooks and iMacs based on the company’s new Silicon chips have surfaced months before Apple is expected to unveil them. According to a new study, the iMac in 2021 will have a much larger display than before.

A new tweet from a well-known tipster has fuelled the rumor. “The iMac’s screen is very big, bigger than the biggest one,” Twitter user L0vetodream wrote. This means that Apple’s next generation of desktop computers would have a far larger screen than the 27-inch model currently available.

Apple currently offers two variants of iMac, the 21.5-inch and 27-inch. Both are rumored to be replaced by Apple, with new designs and improved performance. Since 2012, the company’s desktop machine hasn’t had a major upgrade.

In favor of a design similar to Apple’s Pro Display XDR panel, the new models will slim down the thick black borders around the screen and eliminate the broad metal chin region. These iMacs would have a flat back, in comparison to the present iMac’s curved back.

In terms of performance, the 2021 iMacs will be the first to use Apple Silicon chipsets rather than the Intel processors that Apple currently provides. On its latest processors, Apple promises improved performance and low power consumption.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is currently testing chips with up to 16 high-performance cores and four efficiency cores.

The new iMacs will come in a number of colors, giving consumers more choices than ever before. Though Apple is planning an event later this month, the latest iMacs are unlikely to be revealed at that time. Instead, the theme of the event will be on the iPad Pro 2021 and the AirTags.

Apple is also working on a pair of new Mac Pro desktop computers, the company’s most expensive Mac devices, according to reports.
