WhatsApp’s animated sticker pack importing feature available globally: Sources

The ability to import stickers should be available to users of WhatsApp for Android version 2.21.3.19 and WhatsApp for iOS version 2.21.31.2, according to the report

 

WhatsApp’s developers may be working on features like true multi-device support, but that doesn’t mean the messaging platform can’t add smaller, quality-of-life enhancements like animated stickers. According to reports, the company will now start carrying out the ability to import animated sticker packs globally.

HindustanTimes reported on March 2 that the company was bringing animated sticker packs into the app, but that it was only available in three countries: Brazil, Iran, and Indonesia.

According to reports, the company will now start carrying out the ability to import animated sticker packs globally.

The animated sticker import feature will be rolled out globally over the next 24 hours, according to renowned WhatsApp feature leaker WABetaInfo.

 

 

Because of WhatsApp’s ability to import third-party static photos as stickers, multiple sticker pack applications have appeared on the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Other apps that enable users to create their own sticker packs have grown in popularity, and according to WABetaInfo, these apps will be able to import animated images as stickers on WhatsApp as well.

The ability to import stickers should be available to users of WhatsApp for Android version 2.21.3.19 and WhatsApp for iOS version 2.21.31.2, according to the report. Users can import a video or a GIF into the Sticker Maker app on the Google Play Store or the App Store to create an animated sticker pack.

According to WhatsApp’s guidelines, users must add at least three stickers to a pack before they can be imported, and a pack can contain either animated or static stickers, the report states.
