where are our regions?

They are elderly people, residents of nursing homes or long-term care units, but also caregivers, firefighters or even vulnerable home helpers. The first Frenchmen to be vaccinated against Covid-19 were mainly vaccinated last week.

While this campaign continues and in a week’s should be open to anyone over the age of 75, which regions are vaccinated the most? To find out, discover the figures, revealed January 11 by the Ministry of Solidarity and Health.

More than 7,000 vaccines in Burgundy-Franche-Comté

Oddly enough, Burgundy-Franche-Comté, one of the regions most affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, is not among the first in the ranking. It is also far behind: with just over 7,000 vaccinations in honor, the region is only eighth in the rankings.

A place that can develop quickly, especially thanks to the newly approved vaccine, Moderna, which should be delivered as a priority to businesses in Burgundy-Franche-Comté.

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, 5th region in France where people are vaccinated the most

Better ranked, our second region is currently among the top 5, with more than 12,000 vaccinations. However, this figure, which seems quite important, should be put into perspective. Especially because Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is the second most populous region in France.

It should therefore show a much larger number of vaccinations than New Aquitaine, Occitanie or even Normandy, which hosts almost half as many inhabitants.
