You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin: Musk

Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of Tesla, has announced that the company now accepts bitcoin as a form of payment.

“You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin,” Musk said in a tweet early Wednesday.

His tweet came shortly after Twitter users began to note that Tesla’s U.S. stores now accept bitcoin as a payment option for all models of its electric cars.

The Block verified Tesla’s official pages and was able to see bitcoin payment support, at least in its US store, but the option appears to have been withdrawn as of press time.
