According to figures from Public Health France published on Sunday 15 January, 2 people from Covid-19 died in 48 hours in Ain, and the number of deaths in hospitals increased to 413.
As a reminder, according to weekly data from the Regional Health Agency, 393 elderly people have died in the nursing home since the pandemic started and 127 nursing home residents have died in the hospital. Which makes a total of 520 deaths inside and outside the walls of medical-social institutions.
A total of 806 people lost their lives in the ward due to coronavirus.
14 fewer people were admitted on Sunday 17 January compared to Friday’s figures, or 209 in total, and 21 people are still in intensive care.
1706 people came home (29 more than the day before yesterday).
