Apple to Offer Free Pair of Beats Flex Earphones to New Subscribers of its Apple Music Student Plan

Apple is offering new Apple Music Student plan subscribers a free pair of Beats Flex earphones.

The plan starts on June 22 and is available to new accounts subscribing to Apple Music on the cheaper student plan. In addition, the offer provides customers in the U.S. and the U.K. with free Beats Flex earphones.

Per the terms and conditions, it applies only to students in the two countries who have not subscribed to any Apple Music tier. In addition, being eligible for an Apple Music Student subscription demands studying a bachelor’s degree, post-graduate degree, or equivalent higher education course and being verified as a student through a supported third-party verification partner or Apple.

The subscribers can become eligible for the earphones once they conclude their monthly payment for their subscription. Within 30 days of becoming eligible, Apple will send accounts the instructions to redeem their free pair of Beats Flex earphones, which must be redeemed within 90 days of receipt.

Apple also updated its pricing in the U.K., U.S., and Canada on June 22 or June 23, raising the student plan price to US$ 5.99 instead of US$ 4.99, or an alternate local currency. The price for other plans has not experienced any change.
